Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab in Santa Monica is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide direct care, assist patients with daily activities, and support the nursing team.

Shifts available 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7; full and part-time roles. You will monitor patient comfort, maintain safety, and uphold infection control standards. Competitive pay starts at $20 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing patients.
• Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctors.
• Examining patients for bruises and other injuries/wounds.
• Turning or repositioning patients who are bedridden.
• Lifting patients into beds, wheelchairs, or exam tables.
• Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas.
• Changing sheets and restocking rooms with supplies.
• Ensuring patients receive appropriate diets by reviewing restrictions and allergies.
• Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.

As a certified nursing assistant's your responsibility is to assist patients with their daily activities. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LVN in charge. Your role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. You'll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing patients
• Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctors
• Examining patients for bruises and other injuries/wounds
• Turning or repositioning patients who are bedridden

• Requirements:

• Ability to work long hours on one's feet often doing very physical work
