Flex Team - Certified Nurse Assistant (Internal Float Pool)

• Part-time
• Posted Wage: Pay range is $22.75 - $25.56 / hour

Christian Living Communities (CLC) | Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) offer a dynamic role for a Certified Nurse Assistant in our internal float pool. The position involves supporting residents in daily living activities, maintaining safety and infection control protocols, and providing compassionate care across multiple communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care, promoting comfort and independence.
• Identify and document resident preferences to personalize care plans.
• Support residents’ social, personal, and health care needs.
• Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, making decisions and notifying appropriate staff.
• Communicate with nursing supervisors regarding resident status and changes.
• Investigate and report discrepancies with accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license, active and in good standing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with varied teams across communities.
• Preferred 3–6 months experience working with senior adults.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Position requires strenuous physical work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, body excretions, and communicable diseases possible.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves frequently during working hours.
• Frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members, and visitors frequently.
