Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Auburn, NE is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support care plans and assist residents with daily living activities. Under RN supervision you will perform delegated tasks, monitor patients, and maintain compassionate, person-centered care in a Christian environment.

Requires a 75-hour CNA course, CNA registration, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from $17.00 to $25.50 per hour with 10 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Completion of a 75-hour nurse assistant course is required.
• Must be registered as a CNA and registered with the state health department.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks delegated on the care plan under RN supervision.
• Understands body functions and changes, including death and dying processes.
• Delivers age-appropriate care for physical and psychological needs.
• Assists patients with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
• Exhibits good interpersonal skills, courtesy, and care.
