Job summary

Victorian Village, a Skilled Nursing Community in Homer Glen, IL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Part Time Day Shift. The role supports residents with daily activities and provides basic care under supervision, with training provided if needed. Must be a CNA in Illinois and able to work every other weekend.

Day Shift Hours: 6:30AM - 2:30PM. This position is part-time and located in-home with our Providence Life Services family.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete the orientation program.
• No previous experience is necessary, although it is rewarded, as we will train you for the position and in the skills, you will need! Must be a CNA!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking and transferring.
• Remind residents of medications and assist with administration if required.
• Make beds and respond to call lights in a timely manner.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records.

Summary of job functions:

The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work. No previous experience is necessary, although it is rewarded, as we will train you for the position and in the skills, you will need! Must be a CNA!
