Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time 1st shift role (7a-3p) with scheduled days on Sundays and Mondays. The CNA will provide resident care in a warm, home-like environment, support activities of daily living, and document care while communicating changes to the team.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA/HHA/LNA license; prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required. Dementia care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA/HHA/LNA license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.


• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.


• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.


• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required


• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required


• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
