Job summary

Kentfield Hospital in San Francisco is seeking a Part Time Certified Nurse Assistant to support licensed nursing staff by helping with activities of daily living, hygiene, and patient comfort in a clean, safe environment.

You will follow infection control procedures, document care, monitor nutrition and fluids, and respond to emergencies. Current CA CNA license and BLS certification are required; LTAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

This position is located at our San Francisco facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certificates, department equity, training and organizational needs.
