Job summary

American Advanced Management Inc. seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor/Manager for our San Francisco facility. You will oversee the assigned nursing unit, ensuring 24/7 delivery of high quality patient care and efficient operations.

You will lead staff, coordinate scheduling, budgeting and compliance with regulatory standards to support recovery goals. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, current RN license, and 5+ years in acute care with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Our 60-bed facilities specialize in caring for individuals with critical or chronic complex medical conditions who require extended recovery periods.

Summary

Responsible for the overall operations for the assigned nursing unit and ensures the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care and services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Works with employees and other managers/supervisors to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

This is a full time position based in our San Francisco facility.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises the following positions: Nursing staff including but not limited to RN, LPN/LVN, CNA, Nursing Supervisors/Charge Nurses, Unit Secretaries and Telemetry Monitor Technicians

Qualifications

LICENSE, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in current program with a completion date of 2 years required.

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Qualifications

Five (5) years experience in an acute care setting preferred. Critical care experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development. Ability to manage the practice of nursing within the mission of the hospital. Demonstrated ability to participate in recruitment and hire of qualified staff. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Kentfield and San Francisco Specialty Hospital.
