Bethesda Aberdeen is offering a paid training pathway for certified nurse assistant training and certification in Aberdeen, SD. This full-time position provides on-the-job training and requires completion of Nurse Aide course and test.

As a CNA trainee, you will perform routine daily nursing care, assist with ADL, document care, and support residents under supervision, with rotating weekends and holidays; starting pay is $15.40 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent. (Must be at least 16 years of age)
• Experience: None. On the job training provided
• License/Certification: Successful completion of Nurse Aide course and test.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned day-to-day nursing assistant functions.
• May assist in other areas as needed.
• Document care and resident status as directed.
• Assist with daily living activities (ADL) and personal care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Support residents to maintain dignity and privacy.
• Help prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding.
• Record intake and care data.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
