Job summary

Misericordia seeks compassionate CNAs to join our team in Illinois. New CNAs are welcome; no prior CNA experience required, and we provide a mandatory paid 3-week training program.

Earn base pay of $22–$23 per hour plus shift differentials and a strong benefits package. Responsibilities include providing individualized care, assisting with daily activities, promoting a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting residents in programs and community activities.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois CNA certification or scheduled CNA test date
• High school diploma or GED required
• Participation in Misericordia's paid training program

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, compassionate care to residents
• Assist residents with bathing, feeding, personal care, and other daily activities
• Support residents in day programs, recreational activities, and community activities
• Help create a safe, clean, welcoming environment
• Work as part of a team with CNAs, Nurses, and leadership
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their needs
