Job summary

Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center in Britton, SD is hiring a Nursing Assistant with paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant after state exam success. You will perform ADL assistance, meal service, resident transport, and basic monitoring under a care plan.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and monitors resident needs.

• Transports residents using wheelchairs or assistive devices.
• Turns and re-positions residents safely and with assistance.
• Performs and records vital signs, intake/output, and weight as directed.
• Completes documentation of care provided.

Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center iscurrently looking to hire you as a Nursing Assistant to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards and offer training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our Center- after successful completion of state exam!

Job Summary:

• Answers signal lights
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Requirements:

• You Must Be Reliable
• Able to Pass a Background Screening
• Able to provide 2 References
• Ability to work well in a team setting
