Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and mobility.

This role requires current CNA certification, CPR, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds; strong communication in English is essential, with experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state law.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a CNA, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned
