Job summary

Aliya Healthcare Oak Lawn is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and support a clinical team. The CNA will help with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, vital signs, and documentation while upholding privacy and dignity under HIPAA and facility standards.

Candidates should hold a current CNA certification, be at least 18, and have CPR certification. English communication is required; long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).

• Report changes to nursing supervisor; document care and observations.
• Uphold privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility policies; comply with regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Long term care experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
