Right at Home Winston-Salem, NC is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide in-home care for a 77-year-old male client living with his wife in the Winston area. The client has dementia and Parkinson’s disease and requires standby assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support with evening routines.

Because of Parkinson’s-related muscle stiffness, the caregiver must be comfortable using a Hoyer lift.

Qualifications

CNA certification or PCA experience required
Experience with dementia care required
Experience using a Hoyer lift required
Reliable, patient, and compassionate
Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Provide standby and mobility assistance
Assist with evening and bedtime routines
Safely operate a Hoyer lift as needed
Provide companionship and ensure client safety
