Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours. The role focuses on dementia care, ADLs, and safe patient handling in home settings.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, hygiene assistance, vital signs monitoring, mobility support, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping. Reliable, compassionate caregivers with valid CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• Experience with dementia and ADLs/IADLs preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
