Job summary

Asante is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in Medford, Oregon, for 1st shift days on an on-call basis. The CNA will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, contributing to the nursing process and department policies.

Asante emphasizes patient safety, communication, and a values-driven team environment. The role requires Oregon OSBN CNA certification and BLS, with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

• CNA certification by OSBN is required upon start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association is required upon start

Responsibilities

• Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNAs and RNs
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families
• Promote and maintain Asante’s Vision and Values
