Job summary

Rosewood Post Acute in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. Earn $25.00 per hour as part of our commitment to high-quality, person-centered care.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, ambulation, and transfers under the direction of a licensed nurse, while upholding confidentiality and safety at all times. Prior CNA experience in SNF is a plus, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge is required or willingness to learn.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• State-approved CNA program is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promote a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), You Will Put Resident Service First And Ensure That Residents And Their Families Receive The Highest Quality Care. Under The Direction Of a Licensed Nurse, You Will Deliver Efficient And Effective Nursing Care Essential To Caring For The Personal Needs And Comfort Of Residents. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To

• Assisting residents with or performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assisting licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have

• Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
• Current CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice To Have

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Behavioral care / memory care experience
