Job summary

Lone Star Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Stephenville, TX is hiring a Full Time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate daily care. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support mobility, under supervision of licensed staff.

We offer competitive hourly pay, shift differential for the 10pm–6am shift, and a collaborative team environment focused on patient dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
• Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
