Job summary
Shelbyville Healthcare & Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our night shift team. You will provide high-quality care to residents, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support care plans.
This full-time role offers a daily pay rate of $17.50 to $24 hourly, with benefits including 401(k), health and dental insurance, paid time off, vision coverage, and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Experience providing care to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with Point Click Care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Support mobility with safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
