Maple Grove Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri is hiring a CNA to support residents with daily care, hygiene, activities, and mobility. The role includes transporting residents for therapies, responding to call lights, and participating in ongoing training to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Missouri CNA license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.
• Experience in long-term care settings is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, visits and transport as needed.
• Answer residents' call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service training and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with hygiene and self-care activities.
• Support bathing per facility procedures and encourage self-care where possible.
• Follow infection control procedures and isolation policies.
• Record required information each shift.
• Present a professional image in dress and conduct.
• Respect resident rights and resolve concerns according to policy.

QUALIFICATIONS OF CNA:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA license in the state of Missouri.

• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

GENERAL DUTIES OF CNA:

Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., to include transporting residents to/from such activities.

Answer residents’ call lights promptly.

Attend in-service educational programs, on the job training programs and meetings as directed.

Assist residents with proper hygiene

Bathe residents as assigned and in accordance with established facility procedures (encourage showers and other self-help measures/activities).

Follow infection control procedures in accordance with established facility policy when isolation techniques are necessary.

Chart required information very shift.

Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.

Adheres to Company Standards for resolving consumer concerns.

Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
