Job summary

Avantara Watertown is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift to support residents with daily living activities, observe changes in condition, ensure safety, and assist the clinical team.

Qualified applicants hold an SD CNA certificate; prior CNA experience is preferred. We offer competitive wages ($18–$22/hour), a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• SD CNA certificate or completion from SD Accredited CNA program.
• Prior CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to the nurse.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Support the clinical team with care delivery and education.

As a C.N.A. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course. Prior C.N.A. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
