Job summary

Vineyards at Fowler in Fowler, CA is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team at our 49-bed, family‑owned facility. You will provide routine nursing care under supervision to help residents maintain quality of life. New graduates encouraged to apply.

All shifts available and compensation depends on experience. Qualifications include enrollment in a CNA program or CNA license, English proficiency, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to work with residents,

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a school for certified nursing assistants or hold a CNA license.
Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to work tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that the appropriate care is given.
Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
Assure that water pitchers are cleaned and filled with fresh drinking water within the resident’s reach.
Other related duties as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator
