Job summary

Vineyards at Fowler is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts (NOC 10:30PM–7:00AM) in Fowler, CA. The role involves providing routine nursing care under supervision to maintain high-quality resident care in a newly acquired family-owned facility.

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in or hold a CNA license, possess a genuine desire to serve the ill, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to work harmoniously with staff and maintain patient safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care per established policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct recipient.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables; ensure water pitchers are clean and within reach.

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team!! A newly aquired, Family owned and operated facility in the beatiful small town of Fowler, Ca. With an experienced Administrator and Director of Nursing. Our 49 bed facility is looking for your help to provide the best care in Fowler.

NOC Shift 10:30PM to 7:00AM

Competive Salary. Depends on experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A Certified nursing assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant..
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator
