Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community in Minnesota offers an earn-while-you-learn path through Benedictine-sponsored CNA-NAR training. The program covers the training costs and pays you as you earn a state certification while you train.

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will attend all scheduled classes, collect resident data, and report changes to the RN or LPN. You will also communicate with residents, families, and the health team members during the program.

Qualifications

• Must currently be enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into Benedictine NA training program
• Must be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• BLS Certification.

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN – Benedictine sponsored CNA-NAR training classes will set you on a path to a long lasting career.

As an associate of Benedictine, you will be given the tools and skills necessary to be successful as a Certified Nursing Assistant. There is no cost for the training and you will get paid and earn a certification while you train.

Additional Information

FTE varies, part-time & full-time available once successful completion of CNA course and passing of state CNA exams.
