Job summary

High Point Residence is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, ensuring safety and well-being under nursing staff supervision. The role supports daily living activities and requires dependable, compassionate service.

Availability includes 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am shifts, 3.5 days per week with alternating weekends. You will work with residents' school schedules, uphold patient dignity, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive care environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
