Job summary

Lexington Country Place, part of Phoenix Senior Living, is seeking CNAs to join our caring team. The CNA reports directly to the Director of Nursing and provides hands-on care within assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, following each resident's PSP to promote safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes responding to call bells, maintaining hydration and nutrition, and supporting residents with daily activities while upholding resident rights and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• SC State CNA Licensure.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the CNA position.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of the Personalized Service Plans and updates.
• Follows the hydration schedule established for the residents.
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets and ensures room service or appropriate dining arrangements.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks assigned residents for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Monitors resident rooms for cleanliness and neatness; reports hazards.
• Assists with laundry and common areas; coordinates with housekeeping.
• Completes all ADLs per PSP.
• Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells.
