Job summary

South Richmond Adult Day Care in Richmond, VA seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a caring team. Provide person-centered care, assist with ADLs, monitor health status, and engage participants in meals and activities.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing.
• Prior experience in adult/geriatric care or day program setting preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, health status, and any changes in participant condition.
• Support participants during meals, snacks, and hydration throughout the day.
• Assist with therapeutic and recreational activities in a group day program setting.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and family members regarding participant needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote participant well-being.
