Qualifications

• Successfully completed medication assistance training per state/facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification per state regulations.
• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• Valid High school diploma or GED as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per state rules and facility policies.
• Records medication administration accurately in MAR and communicates concerns to Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and supports independence and dignity.
• Observes residents for adverse effects and reports observations promptly.
• Works as part of a caregiving team to support resident well-being and comfort.
