Harbor Haven Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking a CNA Medication Aide/Caregiver for the 3rd shift. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and support resident independence while upholding dignity.

You have completed medication assistance training and hold up-to-date certification. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential as you collaborate with Wellness staff to ensure safe, person-centered care for residents.

Observes the resident taking the medication, notes effects including any unexpected or adverse effects, correctly documents the required information in the residents’ medication administration records, communicates any concerns or observations with the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator, or designated personnel. The Medication Aide also supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.We are looking for a full-time 3rd shift partner; this would include availability every other weekend and every other company recognized holiday.Critical Success FactorsSuccessful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with the state’s regulatory requirements and facility requirements.Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.Compassionate and empathetic in all interactions.Effective oral and written communication skills.Self-supervising, self-motivating; willing to collaborate and work as a team member.Adaptable and flexible; highly organized with ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands/tasks concurrently.Demonstrates problem solving skills.Preferred QualificationsPrior direct care experience preferred.High school diploma or GED.Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.CBRF Class Certifications - Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration - Not sure?
