Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.   • Document vital signs, intake/output, nutritional intake, weights, and other care; report findings promptly.
  • Maintain patient charts and records with confidentiality.
  • Assist with delegated patient care tasks under nurse supervision.
  • Communicate concerns about hazards or errors to the health care team.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission.   • Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.

  • Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs. Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse.

  • Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.

  • Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.

  • Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.

  • Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.


Job Requirements

Required


  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.

  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program

  • State registered CNA license


Preferred


  • Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.

  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

  • Previous customer service experience preferred

$18.00 - $27.67 /hour
