Job summary

Dexter Health Care, part of First Atlantic Health Care, is seeking a CNA Med-Tech to administer medications and care for residents in a 53-bed facility. New rates start at $21.50 per hour with experience; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered through December 31.

The role reports to licensed nursing staff and supports daily clinical operations to promote resident well-being. You will work on a strong clinical team providing medication management, monitoring, and safety while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program and active Maine CNA Registry.
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant-Medication training program.
• Ability to interact with our computer-based EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Administer routinely scheduled oral and topical medications according to physician orders.
• Monitor and record vital signs and document medications and treatments per policy.
• Report unusual side effects, outdate medications, or shortages to the Charge Nurse immediately.
• Assist with returning, re-ordering, and destroying medications per policy and suggest improvements.
