First Atlantic Health Care in Lakewood, ME seeks a CNA Med-Tech (CNA-M) to administer medications, monitor residents, and document care under a nurse’s supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compassionate care for residents in a varied schedule setting.

Wages start at $24.00 per hour and increase with experience, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible employees and additional shift differentials. Flexible shifts support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be a graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and active on the Maine CNA Registry, plus successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant-Medication training program.
• Must be able to interact with our computer-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Responsabilités

• Medication Administration: Administer routinely scheduled oral and topical medications according to physician orders via scanning per policy to assigned residents.
• Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor and record vital signs per physician orders and standards of practice, and maintain accurate documentation of all medications and treatments based on policy and best practices.
• Communication & Safety: Report any unusual or unwanted medication side effects, outdate medications, or projected shortages to the Charge Nurse immediately.
• Inventory & Process Support: Assist the Charge Nurse with returning, re-ordering, and destroying medications per facility policy, and make suggestions to resolve problems or streamline the medication system.
