Job summary

Fred Lind Manor in Seattle, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Tech to join our compassionate team. This part-time role offers meaningful resident care and opportunities to grow. As a CNA/Med Tech you will assist with ADLs, take vital signs, help with meals and activities, and administer medications under clinician guidance.

Valid CNA license and CPR/First Aid are required. We provide medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, PTO, shift differential, and ORCA card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional specialized training preferred.
• Must hold CNA/NAR/HCA license in good standing.
• For Med Techs, must be certified Med Tech/Medication Aide/Medication Manager with relevant state training.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow residents' ADL directives.
• Make accurate chart notes daily on residents’ conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist residents with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing.
• Assist in serving meals and participating in activities.
• Keep schedules and department operations updated and support residents accordingly.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
• Record vital signs and conditions on schedule or as needed.
• Provide verbal and physical aids during transfers/ambulation.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance and report safety hazards.
• Maintain neat, clean, and safe resident rooms at all times.
• Encourage participation in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities.
• Provide daily medications to residents under clinician guidance.
