Job summary

Coffey Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under licensed staff supervision in a Coffey County hospital setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor patient conditions, document care, and ensure a safe environment.

The ideal candidate is a Kansas-licensed CNA with current BLS certification or commitment to obtain it within 90 days, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• CNA with healthcare program completion and Kansas license.
• Current BLS certification or must obtain by end of 90-day probation.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED; experience with adults/geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Document patient information and care activities ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, colostomy and catheter care as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and department storage areas.
• Participate in department meetings and educational activities.
