Job summary

CHI St Francis Health in Breckenridge, MN is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under RN direction. You will provide basic care, assist with transport, and contribute to the patient’s plan of care as a vital member of the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, monitoring vital signs, turning and positioning patients, and maintaining room cleanliness to ensure comfort and safety for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensed in Minnesota, within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills basic quality of life needs for patients of all ages.
• Answer call lights.
• Serve meals, feed patients.
• Vital signs (BP, T, P, R, and SaO2) weight measurements, and accuchecks.
• Make beds, keep rooms clean.
• Ambulating, turning and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
