Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality care to our residents in a home-like setting. You will assist with daily living activities, document care, and report changes to the nursing staff while providing emotional support.

A valid CNA/HHA/LNA license is required, and prior experience is preferred but not required. Dementia experience is desirable. We offer a range of benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
