Job summary

EGA Associates, LLC seeks qualified CNAs for anticipated opportunities in New Jersey. The role involves performing patient care under RN supervision, assisting with daily activities and basic nursing support in a hospital setting.

Requirements include at least 1 year of CNA experience, VA experience preferred, and a current CPR/BLS certificate by the American Heart Association. Shifts may include days and evenings, with 8‑hour rotations.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• CNA will perform requirements with minimal monitoring by a Registered Nurse.
• NA provides basic, appropriate, effectiveinterventions to individual patients needs according to established facility policies,safety standards and procedures.
• The contact NA refers to the professional RN whendeviations and problems not covered in the assignment occur.
• The contract NA anticipates the needs of professional staff and works with them as a team member.
• The Nursing Assistants provide a vital role assisting the licensed nurses providing direct patient care for patients in the Medical Center and residents in the Community Living Center.
• NA performs a range of personal nursing care which includes feeding, walking,lifting, turning patients and providing related hygiene care.
• NA performs a range of diagnostic support duties which include taking,recording and reporting to nurses’ deviations in vital signs and change inpatients’ condition.
• Assembles necessary equipment. Cleans and cares for equipment in oxygenand suction therapy, frame beds and reports equipment in need of repair.
• The minimum requirements for all certified nursing assistants shall include atleast 1-year prior experience.
• VA experience is preferred.
• A current CPR/BLS certificate by the American Heart Association is required.
