Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program.
• Prior healthcare facility experience preferred but training may be provided.
• Genuine interest in geriatrics and resident-centered care.
• Ability to follow individual care plans and provide ADL support.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance as needed with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility and other ADLs.
• Assist with mobility and daily routines while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Communicate positively with residents and respond appropriately to behaviors.
• Adhere to team-based care and confidentiality, maintain infection control procedures.
