Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant. We offer Certified Nursing Assistant classes to assist you with getting your certification with no cost to you. Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!

Weekend and shift differentials available. Weekend and Holiday Rotations Required Day shift is 6am to 2:30pm. Starting hourly wage is $22.50 an hour.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
Willingness to train if previous healthcare experience is limited.
Interest in geriatrics and delivering resident-centered care.
Ability to perform personal care tasks and activities of daily living.
Commitment to infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility.
Follow individual care plans and support emotional and psychosocial well-being.
Maintain confidentiality and work as part of a healthcare team.
Adhere to safety and emergency procedures in a long-term care setting.
Perform tasks with physical stamina including standing, lifting up to 25 pounds.
