Providence Valdez Medical Center is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant to assist residents with restorative and rehabilitative activities per ROM plans developed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License required at hire.

The Restorative Nursing Assistant will provide residents with restorative/rehabilitative activities according to the treatment plan or Range of Motion (ROM) plan written by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.

Hours: Full Time Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training- Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months- as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care giver.
