Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time position at our Miami, FL facility. The CNA provides routine patient care under supervision and supports daily unit operations on a 20+ acre campus north of mid-town Miami.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a CNA program, a Florida CNA license, and current BLS certification. Excellent communication and a caring attitude are essential for serving geriatric patients and residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current CNA license by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care to patients under the supervision of a nurse.
• Transports residents, supplies, equipment between units or to discharge.
• Documents patient care activities accurately.
• Maintains orderly and clean patient/resident units.
• Upholds residents' rights and follows department guidelines.
• Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit.
