Job summary
Miami Jewish Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care under licensed nurses. You will assist with activities of daily living and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.
This role supports geriatric patients on a skilled nursing and rehabilitation campus, with opportunities to grow in a team that values empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. A CNA program graduate and current Florida CNA license are required, along with BLS.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Current CNA license by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic care to patients under supervision of a nurse.
- Assists with activities of daily living and maintains a comfortable environment.
- Transports residents, supplies, equipment between units and discharge areas.
- Documents patient care activities performed on the unit.
- Maintains cleanliness of patient/resident units and upholds rights.
- Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit.
