Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential support under RN direction in Baudette, MN. You will assist with basic care, transport, meal services, bathing, personal hygiene, and toileting while upholding patient dignity and safety.

The role requires a CNA or willingness to obtain certification within six months, BLS, and strong communication. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, tray service, feeding, and hydration.
• Assist with toileting needs and comfort measures; monitor patient dignity and privacy.
• Support rehab techniques and maintain equipment per care plans.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare.

• Maintains resident’s dignity and provides privacy while delivering cares.
• Responsible for mouth care, hair care, nail care on non-diabetics and for shaving residents.
• Residents receive meals in a timely manner. Assists with tray service, feeds residents, gives nourishments, and fluids. Removes bibs, wipes hands and face after meals. Area used for meal is left neat and tidy and dirty dishes are returned to the kitchen.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the importance and necessity of personal hygiene for residents. Provides bathing and pericare.
• Assists residents with toileting needs via bathroom, commode, urinal, bedpan or incontinence products. (ie: Attends, blue pads and proper pericare.) Bowel and bladder programs are followed.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of rehab techniques to maintain or gain optimal resident function. Rehab appliances and equipment are well maintained and applied as indicated.

We are offering a $7,500 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or willing to obtain certification for the position within six (6) months
