A health services organization in Baudette is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide nursing care under supervisory guidance in our Long Term Care department. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, documenting care accurately, and communicating effectively with care teams. Ideal candidates should have compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment. The pay range is competitive, from $18.96 to $26.78 per hour.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Willingness to obtain CNA certification within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to Long Term Care residents under supervision.
• Assist patients/families with meals or bed linens.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.

Certified Nursing Assistant or willingness to obtain certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a CNA at CHI LakeWood Health, you will help our patients by providing nursing care to our Long Term Care (LTC) residents under the direction of the physician or registered nurse.

Every day you will work with our patients to evaluate their needs and provide physical or psychosocial care. To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine compassion for your patients’ well-being and understand the role you play in helping our patients feel at ease. You also have the patience to explain the process, answer questions and update documentation.

To thrive in this role you will be organized and prioritize accordingly. You will demonstrate the ability to work independently; have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to engage others. Your leadership skills will allow you to handle conflicts resulting in a positive outcome.

• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients.
• Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as may be required.
• Communicate patient information with care teams.
• Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens.
• Reports any changes in a patient's condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment.
• Amongst additional responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or willing to obtain certification for the position within six (6) months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to maintain high level of accuracy when documenting cares.
