Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and/or appropriate nursing credentials as required by state regulations.
• Relevant healthcare experience.
• Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Passion for educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
• Ability to demonstrate CNA skills accurately and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNA students the fundamentals of patient care, safety, infection control, communication, and nursing assistant procedures.
• Provide engaging classroom instruction and hands-on skills training.
• Demonstrate proper CNA skills and supervise students during practical training.
• Prepare students for their CNA certification examination and entry into the healthcare field.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, skills checklists, grades, and other required documentation.
• Create a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment.
• Follow all applicable state and school requirements for CNA education and training.
• Stay current with CNA practices, healthcare standards, and instructional requirements.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to help develop and improve our growing CNA program.
