Instructors will deliver approved curricula, guide student learning, and work with counselors to resolve issues affecting training.

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state of employment by a professional trade organization.
• RN with minimum 2 years experience; at least 1 year in long-term facility; instructor must complete a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and career technical instruction per approved curricula.
• Offer training and guidance to help students achieve academic and trade goals.
• Deliver direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students on behavior, training, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve training/instruction issues.
• Develop lessons per curriculum guidelines and suggest materials.
