Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN or LPN) required.
• Experience in nursing, patient care, or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain clinical concepts clearly to learners.
• Previous experience teaching nursing assistants or healthcare students.
• Knowledge of Job Corps or similar career training programs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction in foundational nursing assistant skills, patient care, infection control, safety practices, and professional healthcare standards.
• Prepare students for CNA competency evaluations and certification requirements.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional activities, and practical learning experiences aligned with curriculum and program standards.
• Serve as a liaison between students, healthcare employers, and community partners (hospitals, nursing homes, care facilities).
• Assist in developing and maintaining partnerships that support clinical experiences, career exploration, and employment opportunities.
