Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital serving Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties, and we are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Inpatient Services team on a part-time schedule (32 hours per bi-weekly pay period). Day/PM shifts include every other weekend, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assists adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in activities of daily living including ambulating and transferring, patient safety and comfort measures.
• Provides holistic care and performs treatments within the scope of practice and departmental guidelines, while assisting the nurse with nursing care and safety measures.
• Reports concerns, data and abnormal findings to the RN.
• Performs patient rounding and responds to call lights in a prompt manner
• Documents care provided and data elements required in the medical record.
• Collaborates with members of the care team to provide quality patient care.
• Assembles supplies and equipment and monitors inventory.
