Job summary

National Home Healthcare seeks experienced caregivers in Oakdale, MN to provide in-home support. You will assist with personal care, meal prep, mobility, light housekeeping, and documentation of services delivered.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, on-site visits, and competitive pay. You will work closely with a supervising nurse and care manager to follow individualized care plans and ensure client well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 6 months of caregiver experience.
• Homecare experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check with MN DHHS.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Compassionate about client care and wellbeing.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English adequately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support with ambulation, transfers, and mobility exercises
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse or care manager
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Adhere to care plans and agency protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver
• Experience in an Homecare preferred
• Ability to pass a background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs.
• Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
