Job summary

National Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-person home care. You will assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, help with mobility and transfers, and perform light housekeeping to ensure a safe living space.

Caregivers prepare meals, monitor health changes, and document services while delivering companionship and emotional support. A valid background check is required and reliable transportation is essential; daytime or weekday shifts are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support ambulation, transfers and mobility exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to supervisor.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and agency protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver
• Experience in an Homecare preferred
• Ability to pass a background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs.
• Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
