Job summary

SETXHOMECARE seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care for elderly clients in The Woodlands area. You will assist with personal hygiene, ADLs, meal prep, and mobility support, while promoting dignity and independence.

Candidates must have an active CNA license, reliable transportation, and at least 3 years in healthcare or home care, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work diverse shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and confidentiality guaranteed.

Qualifications

• CNA license - current or lapsed accepted.
• 3+ years experience in healthcare or home care.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow health and safety standards.

Job Description

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries,by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.

Medication remindersand assist clients with ambulation and transfers.

Assist with ADL'S and personalhygiene, meal prep, assist with feedings,help with exercises and encourage mobility as tolerated by our client.

Assist client withshopping or accompany them to area stores.

Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents to their supervisor.

Offer activities to maintainindependence.

Qualifications

• CNA license - current or lapsed accepted.
• Enjoys working in a one-on-one client setting, eager to improve our clients quality of life.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job‑related duties including transfers.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance with your name on the card, valid email working cell phone, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner towards our clients and their family members.
• Must be able to work different shifts, including days, nights, PRN, holidaysand/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, orhome care environment (minimum of 3 years experience)
• Must follow all health and safety standards
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Take pride in providing high quality care in order to improve quality of life.
